Pragmata FAQ
How long does it take to beat Pragmata?
The main story takes approximately 10–12 hours on Standard difficulty. A completionist run (all 184 collectibles, Training Sims, side content) takes 15–20 hours. Post-game modes like Unknown Signal and NG+ add further playtime.
How many endings does Pragmata have?
Pragmata has two endings: a Normal Ending and an Extended Ending. The Extended Ending requires completing the post-game Unknown Signal mode after the main story. See our All Endings Guide for full unlock steps.
How many collectibles are in Pragmata?
Pragmata contains 184 collectibles across five sectors: 15 Mini Cabins, 27 Escape Hatches, 70 Safe Boxes, 21 Pure Lunum, 16 REM, 22 Mods, 5 Storage Expanders, 2 Cartridge Holders, and 6 Training Data items. Nothing is missable — Unknown Signal Mode lets you clean up after finishing the story.
What should I upgrade first in Pragmata?
Prioritize: 1. Diana's Hacking (most critical — increases damage and vulnerability windows), 2. Hugh's Suit (survivability vs. bosses), 3. Primary Unit / Grip Gun. Visit our Upgrade Guide for the full breakdown.
How does Diana's hacking system work?
Diana displays a hacking grid on each enemy. Guide the cursor through colored nodes to reach the goal — this opens the enemy's armor for Hugh's weapons. Yellow nodes provide crowd control, Blue nodes boost Diana's hacking speed/damage, Purple nodes appear at <30% HP for a stagger/execution. See the Hacking Node Guide for a visual breakdown.
Does Pragmata have multiplayer or co-op?
No. Pragmata is a single-player only game. The dual-character system (Hugh and Diana) is fully controlled by one player. No co-op, online, or PvP modes exist.
What platforms is Pragmata on?
Pragmata is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam), and Nintendo Switch 2. It was released on April 17, 2026. PC supports path tracing with compatible NVIDIA RTX hardware.
What is Unknown Signal mode?
Unknown Signal is Pragmata's post-campaign content, unlocked after finishing the main story. It adds new Sim Pod challenges in the Hidden Chamber with rewards including special weapons and outfits — and completing it at 100% collectibles unlocks the Extended Ending. See our Post-Game Guide.
Can you miss collectibles permanently?
No. All collectibles can be retrieved after the main story via Unknown Signal Mode (Cleanup Mode). Some items require story-unlocked abilities (e.g. Lim Eraser) — the game will mark these for backtracking. Nothing is permanently missable.
Is Pragmata worth buying in 2026?
Pragmata holds an 86 on Metacritic, 97% positive reviews on Steam (4,747+ reviews), and sold over 1 million copies in its first 48 hours. Critics praised the inventive dual-character hacking combat, heartfelt story, and substantial post-game content. See third-party reviews for detailed opinions.
