Before You Enter

The Solar Power Plant is Pragmata's tutorial sector. It teaches combat hacking, Escape Hatch checkpoints, the Firmware Updater, and the Unit Printer before sending you into the first boss fight. Take your time — the game isn't in a rush here.

Firmware Updater priority · Before deploying, spend any Upgrade Components you have on Diana's Hacking first, then Hugh's Suit. This makes the Sector Guard fight significantly easier. The Firmware Updater is the terminal on the left in the Shelter — not the Unit Printer.

Backtrack flags · Two items in this sector — Storage Expander 1 (Generator Entrance) and Safe Box 2 + Pure Lunum 1 (Power Distribution Center) — require the Lim Eraser, unlocked in Sector 2. The game marks these for you. Return after finishing Sector 2 to collect them.

Nothing missable · Even if you skip every collectible, all 15 items remain available in Unknown Signal mode after completing the main story. Grab what you can naturally and clean up later.

First Weapons Unlocked This Sector

Shockwave Gun

High close-range burst damage. Ideal for boss fights when the weak point is exposed.

Stasis Net

Freezes enemies in place. Creates a safe window to complete Diana's hacking grid.

Decode Node

Hacking node that temporarily boosts damage output after a successful hack.

Print these at the Unit Printer in the Shelter once you find them in the field to add them to your permanent loadout. See Best Weapons Guide →

B1

// Block 1

Generator Entrance

The entry block introduces scanning, basic combat, and the first Escape Hatch. It contains only one collectible — and you can't get it yet.

1

From the tram, move forward. Diana prompts the scanning tutorial — activate it with the scan button to mark your objective. This unlocks Diana's basic Scan ability for the rest of the game.

2

Hack the nearby power panel to bring the backup generators online. Follow the path upward — you'll encounter your first Walker enemy. Hack it with Diana (complete the grid to the EXE node), then shoot the exposed weak point with Hugh. This is the core combat loop you'll use for the entire game.

3

After the Walker fight, collect the Lunafilament it drops and pick up the Repair Cartridge in the next room — your only healing item type. Continue to the two-lock door: one terminal is on the right side of the door, the other inside the room on the left. Hack both to open.

4

At the end of this block you'll find the first Escape Hatch. Activate it by interacting — this creates a checkpoint and fast-travel point back to the Shelter. Activating one respawns all enemies but costs you nothing else.

Collectible: Storage Expander 1 — Behind a blue Lunafilament blockade just past the main screen room (follow the corridor, turn right at "0037 Test Module" window, then to the dead end). REQUIRES Lim Eraser — Backtrack from Sector 2

B2

// Block 2

Power Distribution Center

The main puzzle block. Five power terminals must be hacked to open the central gate. This block holds most of the sector's Safe Boxes, but two require the Lim Eraser.

1

Enter the block and immediately activate the Escape Hatch: Sealed Sector Gate Station on your right. This saves your progress before the terminal-hunt puzzle.

2

Navigate the laser-trap corridors. Hack all 5 power terminals scattered through the area to unlock the main gate. The terminals are spread across the upper and lower floors — use Diana's scan to spot nearby interactables.

3

While hunting terminals, collect Safe Box 1 (accessible now — found near the 5-lock door area, drop down left from the door, ride elevator up, then right to the dead end) and Safe Box 3 (same area, follow stairs to the dead end). Leave the marked blue-crystal areas alone for now.

4

Once all 5 terminals are active, the gate opens. Proceed through to reach The Concourse. You'll see the first Mini Cabin Figure sitting on top of a canister just past the crossroads — shoot it immediately (it plays a "ta-da" sound).

Block 2 Collectibles

Item Status Location Note
Safe Box 1 Available now 5-lock door area — drop down left, elevator up, then right to dead end
Safe Box 2 Lim Eraser Same area — behind blue Lunafilament blockade; backtrack from Sector 2
Safe Box 3 Available now Near 5-lock door — follow stairs path to the dead end
Pure Lunum 1 Lim Eraser Same blockaded area as Safe Box 2 — collect both at the same time on backtrack

Backtrack strategy: As soon as you get the Lim Eraser in Sector 2, fast-travel back here first. Both Safe Box 2 and Pure Lunum 1 are in the same blockaded area — you collect them together in one quick visit.

B3

// Block 3

The Concourse

The final block before the boss. Four story-critical items drop here, including your first REM for Diana. None require backtracking — but one is easy to miss.

1

After dropping through the gate from Block 2, approach the room with the globe. A cutscene triggers automatically, introducing Diana's Read Earth Memories (REM) system. You collect Globe REM #1 — this is unmissable. Back at the Shelter, give it to Diana at the REM Replicator to earn a Cabin Coin and watch her react to it.

2

In the room to the right of the Globe REM, open the blue chest for the Hardened Suit Mod (increases Hugh's health by 10%). Equip this at the Tram Terminal before the boss fight.

3

In the room next to the Main Control Lobby Tram Station Escape Hatch, interact with the orange machine to collect the Cartridge Holder — adds one extra Repair Cartridge slot. This is your single biggest early-game survivability upgrade.

4

Before heading to the large circular elevator (boss arena entrance), go left and take the holographic lift. At the top, look for a Holo-Wall (a translucent panel that looks like a regular wall). Walk through it to find the Crayons REM #2. This is the only missable-feeling item in the sector — if you go straight to the elevator, you'll skip it.

5

Activate the Main Control Lobby Tram Station Escape Hatch near the exit. Return to the Shelter before the boss fight — spend any Upgrade Components on Diana's Hacking at the Firmware Updater, set your Hardened Suit Mod in your loadout, and stock up on any weapons you've unlocked.

Block 3 Collectibles

Item Status Location Note
Globe REM Automatic cutscene Cannot be missed — story cutscene in first Concourse room
Hardened Suit Mod Available now Blue chest in room right of Globe REM room (near Main Control Lobby tram stop)
Cartridge Holder Available now Orange machine in room next to Escape Hatch at Main Control Lobby
Crayons REM Available now — easy to miss Behind Holo-Wall at top of holographic lift (left of boss elevator entrance)

Boss: Sector Guard

The Sector Guard is a tutorial boss for Critical Shots and Overdrive Protocol. It's relatively straightforward once you understand the hack-then-shoot loop — both mechanics learned here apply to every boss in the game.

Boss Strategy

Want the dedicated fight breakdown instead of the route-only version? Open the SectorGuard boss guide for weak point priority, first-clear loadout advice, and cleaner phase-by-phase strategy.

Recommended Pre-Fight Loadout

Shockwave Gun — Primary burst weapon for exposed weak point
Stasis Net — Freezes boss for safe hacking windows
Hardened Suit Mod — +10% health for survivability

Pick up extra Stasis Net and Shockwave Gun ammo from the floor of the boss arena before triggering the fight at the large computer.

Phase Breakdown

Phase 1 — 100% → ~70% HP
Dash attack: Boss crouches then charges across the arena. Dodge to the side — not backward.
Missile volley: Tracking missiles marked by red ground circles. Sprint continuously to outrun them; dodge only when unavoidable.
Damage loop: Use Stasis Net to freeze → complete Diana's hack grid → shoot the exposed orange fuel canister on the boss's back with the Shockwave Gun.
Phase 2 — ~70% HP: Critical Shot Unlocks
A purple circle appears around the boss. Sprint close and press R2/RT — Hugh jumps onto the Sector Guard and performs a finisher attack.
After the Critical Shot, the boss begins tracking missiles while dashing — sprint forward alongside it rather than dodging sideways.
Phase 3 — ~50% HP: Overdrive Protocol
A cutscene plays — Diana learns the Overdrive Protocol. Press L3+R3 (hold both sticks on controller) to activate it. The boss is immobilized and takes damage.
Immediately get behind the boss while it's locked in place and dump all your Shockwave Gun ammo into the fuel canister on its back — this is the highest damage window in the fight.
After Overdrive: the boss chains three dashes instead of two and fires a wider missile blast. One lateral dodge at the start of the blast clears it cleanly.

Reward: Defeating the Sector Guard drops your first Shelter License Key. Return to the Shelter to unlock expanded Firmware Updater capacity, new Unit Printer blueprints, and Cabin's Stamp Club (Trainee Board). Spend your newly collected Upgrade Components before heading to Sector 2.

Mini Cabin Figures — All 3 Locations

Remember: shoot them to collect. They do not appear via Diana's Object Scan. Listen for the "ta-da" audio cue when nearby.

1

Power Distribution Center — near the crossroads

Just past the main gate (after hacking all 5 terminals), take the path right at the crossroads. The figure sits on top of a canister. Shoot it before descending to the Concourse.

2

The Concourse — bunk cabin after Globe REM

In the same room where you get the Globe REM cutscene, check the sleeping pods. The Mini Cabin is behind the mesh curtain in front of one of the bunks — easy to walk past.

3

The Concourse — above ventilation fan near boss elevator

Before the boss elevator, use the holographic lift on the left (same one that leads to the Crayons REM). At the top, take the zipline up. From the ledge, look down along the wall — the Mini Cabin is sitting on top of one of the exhaust fans below. You have enough range to shoot it from the ledge.

What to Do Next

01

Spend your Shelter License Key rewards — open the Unit Printer's new blueprints and expand Firmware Updater slots. Prioritize Hacking upgrades for Sector 2's tougher enemies.

02

Give the Globe REM to Diana at the REM Replicator. This earns a Cabin Coin and starts your Stamp Club board — buy the Trainee Board tile that gives you a Red Gate Key for the first Red Zone in Sector 2.

03

Head to Sector 2: Mass Production Array. Full walkthrough →

After Sector 2: return here with the Lim Eraser to collect Storage Expander 1 (Generator Entrance) and Safe Box 2 + Pure Lunum 1 (Power Distribution Center). Fast-travel via the Sealed Sector Gate Station Escape Hatch.

Solar Power Plant FAQ

How many collectibles are in the Solar Power Plant?

The Solar Power Plant contains 15 collectibles across 3 blocks. Of these, 3 require the Lim Eraser (Storage Expander 1, Safe Box 2, Pure Lunum 1) and must be collected on a backtrack from Sector 2. Nothing is permanently missable — everything is available in Unknown Signal mode post-story.

How do I beat the Sector Guard boss?

Hack the boss with Diana to expose the orange fuel canister on its back, then shoot it with the Shockwave Gun. Use Stasis Net to create safe hacking windows. At ~70% HP, a Critical Shot prompt appears — press R2/RT close up. At ~50% HP, Diana unlocks Overdrive Protocol (L3+R3) — activate it and immediately shoot the fuel canister while the boss is immobilized. See the full Boss Guide for detailed phase strategies.

Where is the Crayons REM in the Solar Power Plant?

The Crayons REM is in The Concourse, before the boss elevator. Take the holographic lift on the left side of the double doors leading to the elevator. At the top, look for a Holo-Wall (translucent panel) — walk through it to find the REM. It's the only item in the sector that's easy to walk past without knowing it's there.

When can I get the Storage Expander in the Generator Entrance?

The Storage Expander in the Generator Entrance requires the Lim Eraser ability to reach — it's behind a blue Lunafilament blockade. The Lim Eraser is unlocked automatically during Sector 2 (Mass Production Array, Block 5). Return here after that to collect it.

What does the Cartridge Holder collectible do?

The Cartridge Holder adds one extra Repair Cartridge slot — meaning Hugh can carry one more healing item. This is the single biggest survivability upgrade available in Sector 1, especially before the Sector Guard boss fight. It's in the room next to the Main Control Lobby Escape Hatch in The Concourse.
