Before You Enter
Sector 2 is significantly larger than Sector 1 and introduces several new enemy types: the fast-rolling Spider and the shield-generating Executor. The main goal is to hack 6 beacons scattered across the sector to unlock the Comms Tower gate — you can do them in any order.
Shelter prep · Use your Shelter License Key from Sector 1 first. Expand your Firmware Updater slots and print the Shockwave Gun if you haven't already. Upgrade Diana's Hacking before deploying — Executors are far more dangerous than Walkers.
Executor mechanic · When an Executor's health gets low, four antennas grow from its face (like a Demogorgon) that block Diana's hacking entirely. Destroy the antennas with Hugh's gun first, then resume hacking normally.
Nothing missable · All 39 collectibles remain available in Unknown Signal mode after completing the story. Items behind Lim Eraser blockades are flagged — get the Eraser in Block 5 and immediately backtrack.
// Block 1
Test Site Entrance
Arriving by tram, you see an intro cutscene of Diana chasing a holographic cat to the ledge. After it ends, move forward through the corridor. Check all side passages for Upgrade Components — several are hidden around corners in this zone.
IDUS immediately locks down the New York square. Beacon 1 is right in front of you — hack it with Diana for a quick warm-up. After hacking, Diana's Scan highlights a nearby hackable door. Go through it — you'll be chased by an Executor (don't engage yet, just run) until you reach the Shopping District Entrance Station Escape Hatch.
Encounter the Spider enemy here — a fast-rolling bot that charges straight at you. Don't let it close in. Hack it quickly to expose the core, then a single Grip Gun shot finishes it.
// Block 2 · 10 Collectibles
Shopping District
Activate the Escape Hatch as you enter, then jump over the truck blocking the path. Ahead is your first Red Zone door — you'll need a Red Gate Key. Find one in the room with the "Resident Devil III" poster on the wall. Inside that same room is also the Multihack Hacking Node — links damage between multiple enemies simultaneously.
Through the open door under the "Orbit Orbit" sign, pick up the Riot Blaster. Grabbing it triggers a lockdown — multiple waves of enemies including an Executor spawn. Clear them, then hack Beacon 2.
Hack the control panel to create moving platforms, then cross the bridge to the Interconnecting Passage Station Escape Hatch. This Escape Hatch is the boundary between Shopping District and Side Alley — activate it before proceeding.
// Block 3 · 4 Collectibles
Side Alley
Drop from the building to the street below. Beside the white door, pick up the Charge Piercer — the best weapon for the upcoming Creator boss. It fires a slow but powerful piercing laser that passes through multiple enemies in a line. Always charge it fully before firing at exposed weak points.
Go through the white door — your first full Executor fight (not a chase). Use the Charge Piercer on its chest and cooling rods on the back. When low-HP antennas appear and block hacking: shoot off the antennas first, then resume Diana's hack.
After clearing the Executor, hack the wall terminal to raise platforms. Hack Beacon 3 on the structure ahead. Open the blue chest for the Relay Amplifier Mod — increases Diana's hacking range.
// Block 4 · 10 Collectibles
Business District
This block introduces the Lim Recycler environmental hazard — a large compactor you can use against enemy groups. A nearby laptop explains it. Pull enemies under a recycler with the Decoy Generator and then hack the terminal to destroy them all at once.
Hack Beacons 4 and 5 in this block. Beacon 4's enemy gauntlet is the hardest so far — waves of Watchers, Walkers, and an Executor. Use Overdrive Protocol (L3+R3) to knock several enemies down simultaneously.
After Beacon 4, look over the ledge near the pile of boxes — Mini Cabin 2 is on a platform against the wall below, almost hidden by decorative trees. Shoot it from the ledge edge.
Find the Decoy Generator in this block — available from the floor pickups in the Lim Recycler area. This defensive weapon creates a holographic Hugh to redirect enemy attention while you hack safely. Print it at the Unit Printer after this sector.

Lim Recycling Facility
Key Event — Lim Eraser
Diana acquires the Lim Eraser from a terminal near the end of this facility. This unlocks the ability to destroy blue Lunafilament barriers — the walls that have blocked several collectibles across Sector 1 and 2. This is an automatic story event — no resources needed.
Enter the facility. Use the Decoy Generator to pull enemies under the Recycler conveyor belts, then hack the terminal to wipe them out — the most efficient method for this block's combat encounters.
Reach the terminal/pedestal room. Diana acquires the Lim Eraser — the game immediately lets you test it on nearby blue barriers. Use it on the barrier in the lab room to open the path forward.
The large Lim Recycler room ahead is packed with Walkers, Crushers, and an Executor. Clear them via the Recycler, then hack Beacon 6 — the final one. The Comms Tower gate opens.
Mini Cabin 3 is in the same room as Escape Hatch 4 — look in an open container near the door. Shoot it.
Do this now before continuing: With the Lim Eraser active, immediately fast-travel back to Sector 1 via the Shelter tram. Collect Storage Expander 1 (Generator Entrance) and Safe Box 2 + Pure Lunum 1 (Power Distribution Center) — all three were blocked on your first visit. Then return here for Block 6. This takes ~5 minutes and prevents a separate backtrack trip later.
// Block 6
Comms Tower
The final Escape Hatch of the sector (Escape Hatch 5 — Comms Tower) is behind the gate you just opened with all 6 beacons. Activate it.
Return to the Shelter now. Stock Repair Cartridges to maximum, equip the Charge Piercer and Decoy Generator in your loadout, and spend any remaining Upgrade Components on Diana's Hacking. This is the last safe upgrade window before the boss.
Head to the rooftop. A cutscene plays — the holographic cat (IDUS's avatar) reappears and summons the Creator. The boss fight begins immediately after the cutscene ends.
// End of Sector 2
Boss: Creator (shown on-screen as "Gigantic Bot")
The Creator dwarfs the SectorGuard. It towers over the entire rooftop arena and mixes slow, telegraphed attacks with one arena-clearing move that can instantly drop you to 1 HP. Understanding when to climb and when to shoot is the key to this fight.
Boss Strategy
For the dedicated encounter page, open the Creator boss guide. It covers `Gigantic Bot` naming, face vs underside targeting, and the hacking blocker logic in one place.
Recommended Loadout
Pick up extra Charge Piercer and Shockwave Gun ammo from the arena floor before triggering the fight.
Attack Patterns & Phase Guide
When the entire arena glows red, the Creator is charging its most dangerous attack. If it connects, Hugh drops to 1 HP regardless of current health.
Action: Stop everything and climb the Lunafilament pillars immediately. The tops of the pillars also provide the best angle to hit the hacking jammers on top of the Creator — deal with both at the same time.
When the Creator's health is fully depleted, the game locks into a timed hacking sequence. Navigate to the Open node before the timer expires — failure means death and restarting from the phase. Read the entire node layout before moving. Do not rush.
Reward: Defeating the Creator drops Shelter License Key #2. Return to the Shelter to unlock Tier 2 upgrades — expanded Firmware Updater capacity, new Unit Printer blueprints, and the Associate Board at Cabin's Stamp Club. A new sector (Terra Dome) is also unlocked on the tram map.

Mini Cabin Figures — All 3 Locations
Shoot to collect. No Object Scan. "Ta-da" sound when nearby.
Shopping District — roof near mannequin window
After passing the first Escape Hatch, reach the mannequin display window with the "Orbit Our World" neon sign. Glide up on the right side — the Mini Cabin is on the roof above.
Business District — ledge above Beacon 4 area
After hacking Beacon 4, look over the edge near the pile of boxes closest to the ledge. The Mini Cabin sits on a platform against the wall below — almost concealed by decorative trees. You have enough range to shoot it from the ledge.
Lim Recycling Facility — open container near Escape Hatch 4
In the same room as Escape Hatch 4, immediately after defeating the large Executor (puppet-like enemy). The Mini Cabin is visible inside an open container near the door.

Mass Production Array FAQ
How many collectibles are in the Mass Production Array?
The Mass Production Array contains 39 collectibles across 6 blocks. Several Safe Boxes require the Lim Eraser (unlocked in Block 5 of this same sector). Nothing is permanently missable — all items are available in Unknown Signal mode post-story.
Where do I get the Charge Piercer?
The Charge Piercer is on the ground next to the white door as you drop down into the Side Alley block (Block 3). It fires a chargeable piercing round — charge fully before using it on exposed weak points. It's the best weapon for the Creator boss fight later in this sector.
How do I beat the Creator boss?
Hack with Diana to expose the face (primary weak point) and underside belly (higher damage). Use the Charge Piercer for burst damage. When glowing limb joints block hacking panels, shoot them off immediately. The critical rule: when the arena glows red, climb the Lunafilament pillars — the attack drops Hugh to 1 HP if it connects. The fight ends with a timed hacking sequence to the Open node — read the layout before moving.
How do I deal with Executor enemies?
Target the chest (primary weak point) and cooling rods on the back (more damage) with the Charge Piercer after hacking. When health gets low, four antennas grow from its face blocking all hacking — shoot the antennas off with Hugh's gun first, then resume Diana's hack normally. If a charging Executor hits a wall, it's briefly stunned — use that window.
When should I backtrack with the Lim Eraser?
Immediately after unlocking it in Block 5. Fast-travel to Sector 1 first (Storage Expander 1 in Generator Entrance + Safe Box 2 + Pure Lunum 1 in Power Distribution Center), then sweep through the Sector 2 flagged items (Test Site SB1&2, Shopping District SB5, Business District SB14). This takes ~10 minutes and clears all Lim Eraser-gated backtracking at once.
What is the "Round 'Em Up" achievement and where do I get it?
In Block 4 (Business District), you'll enter a room with 6 yellow floor plates. When more than 3 enemies are standing on the plates, hack the device on the left wall to activate an incinerator that destroys all of them at once. Use the Decoy Generator to lure enemies onto the plates if they won't stand there naturally.
